Uncontrolled Docuements

And, obviously, un-spellchecked signs.

Other than the bad spelling, what exactly does that mean? How can documents be uncontrolled? Will they spontaneously burst into song, and wreck up all the furniture?

  • The “docuements” will be uncontrolled after you’ve spilled your “sundae’s” on them, presumably.

@OGD: This sign appears in a govt. building. Essentially it means that they are public and/or unguarded — anyone in check them out and read them. In govt-speak, I think it means “nobody’s officially responsible for anything put on this shelf.”

Uncontrolled documents are documents that are not official (yet)
