This morning, Susan and I took the kids to play in one of the local spraygrounds, those little free water parks sprinkled across town by the Oklahoma City Park Department. We visited the one off of Melrose between Council and Rockwell which, while it’s probably not the best neighborhood to be caught in after dark, isn’t bad during the day. Multicultural, yes — dangerous, no.
Susan picked up a pack of water balloons from the dollar store on the way to the park, which they were a big hit. Sue spent most of her time at the park filling water balloons for all the kids at the park.
