One of our newer holiday traditions is the baking of the Christmas cookies. For the past couple of years, Mason and Morgan’s cousins (our nieces and nephew) have come over and baked Christmas cookies with us the week of Christmas. We currently exchange gifts with my family on the 25th, Susan’s family on Christmas Eve (the 24th), and bake Christmas cookies on the 23rd. Pretty soon our house will be like the twelve days of Christmas, or worse, the 25 days of Christmas.
