I had just started writing about this year’s Onion Burger Day experience when I got hit with an overwhelming sense of deja vu. After searching my blog I found references to Onion Burger Day dating all the way back to 2003.
Other than the kids being a year older, there wasn’t much to distinguish this burger day from any other burger day. It was drizzling rain on our way out to El Reno, but by the time we got there the rain had stopped. The weather was great, there were lots of classic cars to look at, and the fried onion burgers were delicious.
