Yesterday morning I walked into work and blew up my laptop by plugging it in.

Later in the afternoon, I turned on a server and somehow blew up both its power supply and the battery backup unit it was connected to.

Last night I came home and tried to turn on the DVD player, only to find it was dead as well.
