Projects, projects …

Ok, I’ve got my next major project narrowed done to one of the following:

Convert the upstairs room to a dedicated media room (ie: a movie theater). Convert the shed into a club house for Mason. Put up a fence in the backyard to keep Mason out of the pool and the pond. Fix the liner on the pool. Fix the filer on the pond. Take ownership of Andy’s broken S-10 and rebuild it.

Decisions, decisions.

Lately, the GP32 (the little handheld computer/console I recently bought) has taken over my life. Who knew playing old Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 games would be so much fun? I’ve written some programs, made some movies … just been spending more time than I should be on the darn toy. Maybe if I would put it down long enough, I’d have some more time to finish some of these projects.

Friday was dad’s 55th birthday. I picked him up an RC plane, something he’s wanted (at least he said he did) for a few years now. Went to Outback but Mason decided he was NOT sitting through dinner, so after wrestling with him, Susan eventually left with Mason and I stayed with Dad. Saturday, we headed down to Redrock to meet some friends from work, and again, Mason was a handfull. I’m starting to think that’s what kids do (go figure!). Mason just went on a seek and destroy mission, searching out anything that could possibly hurt or kill him. After about an hour of trying to keep him away from dogs and the open fire, we headed back home.

Sometimes I wish we got two weekends, so I could use the second weekend to recouperate from my first one.
