Susan, Mason and I have been so busy lately that I haven’t had a lot of time to type up any updates. So … here’s a quick list of what’s been going on around the house and at work.
At work, we’ve finally done our “reorganization”. I’m still in the basement, with one other person (Gary). Everyone else has moved upstairs to different departments. It still feels a little awkward and weird at the moment, but I’m sure like everything else it’ll grow on me eventually.
At home … last week, we went to the doctor for Susan’s first ultrasound. They confirmed (to our relief) that there’s only one baby in there, and everything looks normal. On the way home from the doctor’s office we picked up a conversaion we’ve been having recently about buying a new, bigger car. So, on the way home we stopped, looked at, test drove, and bought a 2003 Honda Odyssey minivan. It’s about as loaded as you can get when it comes to minivans, which helps negate the anti-coolness factor — leather seats, a dvd player, and power everything all help the medicine go down.
We spent the weekend visiting with my Aunt Linda and my Grandma O’Hara, both down from Chicago.
Oh, and Matrix: Reloaded ruled.
