2012 Honda Crosstour
Summer, 2012

Tired of driving a minivan for almost ten years, Susan decided she wanted an upgrade -- something with leather seats, a sunroof, and most importantly, not a minivan. She decided on this, an eggplant-colored Honda Crosstour. The Crosstour is an all-wheel drive vehicle built on the Accord frame. As of January 1, 2018, the car has almost 160,000 miles and is still going. The interior shows a lot of wear and has not held up as well as our Honda Odyssey did. And while we haven't had any serious maintenance issues with the car, lots of noises, clanks, alignments, and brake jobs have kept us familiar with our local mechanic. The Crosstour hasn't been a bad car, but it doesn't feel like it's as solid as some previous Hondas we've owned.

Update: In the summer of 2021, our daughter turned sixteen and inherited the Crosstour. It's still going!
