Tennessee

First time: Summer, 1982

I have been to Tennessee many times. The first time was in 1982 when my parents, sister and I attended the World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee.

In 2001 when Susan was pregnant with Mason, the two of us took a road trip to Memphis, Tennessee. There we visited the Civil Rights History Museum (at the hotel where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated), the Gibson Guitar Factory, and of course, Graceland.

I have two friends named Jason that both live right around Nashville, Tennessee. One owns the Game Galaxy arcade. The other is a great musician, writer, and friend of mine. Although the two of them have never met, I am sure they are not the same person. I think.

In the summer of 2016, my family and I took a mini-vacation to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We stayed in a giant cabin, visited the Titanic Museum, rode go-karts, and toured a llama farm.

Every time I drive out east to Washington DC, Atlanta, or South Carolina, I drive through Tennessee. It seems like I have driven through there at least a dozen times, maybe more. Last edited: Summer, 2016
