GYARGH I have not been by in months. No offense attended. In fact, I stopped going to a lot of places intentionally recently, because the userbases were obnoxious or filled with obnoxious twats. This is one of the last places left that does not contain such people.

It went great! I posted updates almost every day on robohara.com, but will probably write a few more detailed posts over the next week. I should probably write something more in depth on Roswell, and a bit of a review regarding David Copperfield's show.

Magic, in the US, has taken a bad turn! There used to be magic on TV as specials all the time. Did cuts and CG get too good or something?

I got the feeling Copperfield would have shut his show down five years ago if he weren't still on contract. The problem is, yeah, millions. The cheapest regular tickets were $100/person and the theater holds 650 people, so that's $65,000/show and he does 2 shows a night and (I think) 4 nights a week, which would be (calc.exe) half a million a week. Some of the tricks I saw him do were ones from the 80s so I can only assume he's bored of the daily grind.

There's only so much stuff a stage magician can do, really. Make shit go away, make shit come back, make shit change into something else. Oh and cut himself in half (Please tell me he still not using those fake legs) and fly around in a loose sweater in front of a shimmer wall to hide the wires.
