Last night, Susan, Mason and I drove across the street to watch the Yukon fireworks. Mason oooh’ed and aaah’ed at each one that went off. Then he saw the moon, pointed at it for ten minutes, and started crying when it wouldn’t explode.
Today, Dad and I rode our bikes over to the Community Center to catch the 4th car show. Unfortunately, we missed it. Around 7pm, Mom and Dad, along with Susan’s mom, sister, two neices and nephew, came over for hot dogs, chips, dip, beans, cake, and all the goodies. The kids played Slip and Slide in the backyard for a while. Eventually, everyone left to go watch fireworks, and Uncle Rob took a nap.
I’ll put the rest of the pictures online later this weekend. I’m heading to Tulsa on Saturday with Stephen to do some shopping and hang out. Goldies, here we come!
