Ireland, England, and Returning to the USA

After what seems like a month (but in reality was only a week), Susan and I are home from our trip to Ireland the the UK! We saw and did so many neat things over the last week, from watching the sun rise at Stonehenge to watching it set from the balcony of a castle. We flew thousands of miles, drove hundreds of miles (on the wrong side of the road!), walked all over the place and even rode a ferry twice (rom Ireland to Wales and back). On our trips we plan for everything except 8 hours of sleep.

I had hoped to write more blog posts while we were on the road but I didn’t have much time to pull my laptop out of my bag, and using Siri to dictate texts is just inaccurate enough to be annoying. Instead, I’ll be sharing some pictures and blog posts over the next few days regarding some of the places we visited, including:

  • The Guinness Storefront
  • The National Leprechaun Museum
  • The National Museum of Ireland
  • The Irish Rock and Roll Museum
  • Stonehenge
  • The Cliffs of Moher
  • The Blarney Castle

…and a few other random thoughts and points of interest along the way. We had an absolutely amazing time, took nearly 1,000 pictures and videos between the two of us, and picked up a bit of Irish slang along the way!

    1. I very nearly contacted you while you were nearby to invite you to Arcade Club and a meal… then remembered Susan and realised you’d gave every minute already accounted for…
