2009 is coming to an end. If nothing else, I’m glad to see this decade pass for the simple fact that I never knew what to call it. We had the seventies, the eighties, the nineties … and then the oughts? The double-ohs? Nothing ever quite sounded right. Maybe they’ll have a better answer in 90 years. Won’t be my problem then. Hey, wait a minute — what is the next decade called? The tens? The teens? Does anyone know?
At some point this weekend I’ll probably post my new year’s resolutions for 2010, which almost seems pointless as I just had to go search to find out what my 2009 resolutions were. My first resolution of 2010 will be to keep better track of my 2010 resolutions!
