OVGE — Tulsa, Tomorrow

Early this morning I posted a blog about tomorrow’s Oklahoma Video Game Expo (OVGE), which takes place in Tulsa, OK at the Spirit Bank Event Center from 9AM – 5PM ($5 admission). I talked about how I’ll be there all day, and how there will be games there (to both buy and play) ranging all the way back to the Atari 2600 and the original Nintendo Entertainment System, all the way up to the PlayStation 3, the XBox 360 and the Wii.

Over the past day or so I’ve begun re-routing my mail through GMail instead of my own mail server. I forgot to make that change, and as a result all of you who normally receive e-mails from robohara.com did not receive one. I thought fixing the problem would be easy. I updated WordPress to send those updates to GMail, but that didn’t go so well. I discovered that GMail needs SSL or TLS — so, I installed them. Then I installed some other things. Pretty soon I had installed a dozen things, and not only was e-mail still not working, but pretty much everything else stopped working as well.

Fortunately, everything I do around is backed up (in at least two locations, in fact). I was able to restore the server with yesterday’s data, which means that I lost the original post about OVGE.

And, e-mail updates are still broken.

So anyway, yes, I’ll be in Tulsa tomorrow, hanging around the OVGE floor. The show’s layout is nice and open, so if you’re there be sure to say hi!
