First off, I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. We took it easy over the weekend and then spent Monday doing all our errands. We put flowers on graves, took Mason to Cactus Jack’s (a local arcade), bought a futon for upstairs, and various other errands. Mason learned how to say “movie” (even though it comes out as “moobie”) … he stands, points at the DVD shelves, and says “moobie! moobie!” until you put Shrek, Monsters Inc., or Toy Story in the DVD player.
Susan, Mason, Susan’s mom Liz, Susan’s sister Becky, and Becky’s three kids all hopped in the new minivan this morning and headed out on a three day vacation to Dallas. Susan’s going for a Lotus Conference for work, everyone else is going along for the ride. I’ve promised not to do “too much” home remodeling while they’re gone… Oh, who am I kidding? I’ve got 3 nights of Playstation 2 waiting for me.
