Today (August 19th) is my and Susan’s 8th wedding anniversary. Eight years ago today I was probably already pacing by this time. I’m sure back then I never could have imagined how well things would have turned out for me.
Today Mason is sick so Susan and I are both sitting at home. Susan’s watching Shrek and doesn’t realize that Mason’s asleep. That happens a lot. Many times I have been halfway through “Sesame Street’s 1-2-3 Count With Me!” only to look up and realize Mason’s been gone for a while. Right now, Mason is pretty limp, draped over his favorite pillow with a blanket draped over him.
Gotta go – my favorite part of Shrek is coming up.
