I usually don’t fill out these “meme” things but I saw this on someone else’s blog and it seemed kind of funny so I thought I’d try it. The idea is to put your MP3 player (be it WinAmp or an iPod, or whatever) on random and then pick a random song to answer each of the following questions. I did this at home last night and since I don’t have a lot of regular MP3s on my computer at the moment I used my Awesome 80’s MP3 directory. Some of the answers came out eerily correct; others, not so much. Either way I thought it was funny enough to repost, so here it is. (And this one’s dead on! Ok, maybe not, but still funny.)
5. How can I make myself happy? – Pat Benatar – Hit Me With Your Best Shot
(Another weird one. If I seem sad, please do not punch me to cheer me up. It won’t work.)
6. What should I do with my life? – Smithereens – Something New
(Well, huh. Interesting one.)
7. Will I ever have children? – Thompson Twins – Doctor Doctor
(Well, I have two kids and each was delivered by a doctor, so this one was right on!)
8. What is some good advice for me? – REO Speedwagon – Keep on Lovin’ You
(Hugs for everybody.)
9. How will I be remembered? – Billy Joel – An Innocent Man
(Another funny one. I laughed when this came up.)
10. What’s my signature dancing song? – Phil Collins – Against All Odds
(That’s true. The chances or you seeing me dance are indeed against all odds.)
11. What’s my current theme song? – Guns and Roses – Patience
(I am about as impatient as they come. Maybe this means I should be more patient?)
12. What do others think is my current theme song? – Paul Simon – You Can Call Me Al
(So now I’m going to have people calling me Al and punching me to cheer me up. Great.)
13. What shall they play at my funeral? – Rod Stewart – Passion
(Another bullseye, baby.)
14. What type of girl do I like? – George Michael – Father Figure
(This one just weirded me out.)
15. How’s my love life? – Paul McCartney – Wonderful Christmas
(And this one made me laugh, once again. I deliver packages of joy to all who love me.)
