Idaho

First time:Summer, 1996
Last time: Summer, 2012

The first time I was in Idaho was when I drove through it during my move from Oklahoma to Washington State. As Spokane is only about 15-20 minutes from the Idaho border, we visited Idaho multiple times while living in Washington. In 1997 I visited the FAA office in Boise to assit in the upgrading of their client workstations to Windows 95.

In the Summer of 2012 while on our way to Seattle for our Alaska cruise, Susan, the kids and I pulled over in Idaho to stretch our legs. Completely by chance, we pulled over just past a giant bridge. That bridge turned out to be the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, a famous location for BASE jumpers. Within minutes of our arrival, guys with parachutes in hand were jumping off the bridge. Talk about timing!
